• Water source – we have wells, municipal systems, multiple rural providers, shared systems, and even water haulers.
• Direction of the driveway!  It may sound funny to some, but how the sun hits your driveway and for how long each day can really impact the winter upkeep you’ll face.
• Proximity to amenities and/or recreational opportunities.
• Road systems – how much dirt are you okay with?  Here in La Plata County, the county maintains more miles of gravel/dirt roads than they do paved!
